The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and there where central heating, a work desk and TV too. It had stunning location with access to Bandstand nearby.

We had a very lovely time in this pet-friendly hotel in Whitby. The location was amazing and fab, on the seafront, in the pretty nice area. We found nice Battery Parade Cafe nearby with hot beverages.

I stayed at the royal for 2 nights with my partner and was genuinely surprised. The location was fantastic, very close to everything. The staff were lovely and always helpful. The sea view room we upgraded to was lovely, especially seeing the abbey lit up in the evenings.

Cozy and Convenient Stay!
Just spent a night here and it was a pretty good experience! The staff were super friendly and helped me with the car parking. My room was comfy, and the shower was massive, best I've had! Only downside was the room view wasn't great-faced the loading bay. Breakfast was tasty too!
